Infrastructure
AIATERF considers that modern infrastructure is one of the significant conditions for inclusive growth. Key requirements for inclusive education and development are barrier-free study environments. The principles of universal design help to remove physical, sensory and cognitive barriers in the education system and to ensure accessibility, orientation, usability and safety for all.
During student life most of the waking hours of any student are spent at school, learning anything and everything in various dimensions from books, teachers, peers and even school environs, writes Ahmad Shariq Khan of Elets News Network (ENN).
There is no denying how significant a school is in shaping up a student’s personality and holistic learning process. Like an experienced teacher and teaching pedagogy play a critical role in shaping students’ academic lives, infrastructure is also vital. It creates a favorable environment for students’ holistic development.
Besides, an overcrowded classroom and stressful environment also affect students’ learning capabilities. That’s AIATERF has created rooms considering student teacher ratio
Some of the key components which were considered while developing our infrastructure resources are as follows:
- ⦁ Spacious and well- ventilated classrooms
- ⦁ Libraries
- ⦁ Playgrounds
- ⦁ Well-equipped labs
- ⦁ Facilities study tables, chairs, furniture and basic utilities such as water, electricity etc.
- ⦁ Study halls
- ⦁ Games equipment
- ⦁ Assembly area
- ⦁ Well-maintained sanitation facilities
For the consistent development of educational systems according to universal design, international, national and municipal guidelines and policies are considered in order to make all necessary information, feasible methods of implementation and tried and tested quality assurance tools available and usable across all levels of courses and technical education and vocational training conducted in AIATERF promoted and managed colleges. In true sense a professional approach has been adopted
